The Garden Tower 2 is made from 100% recyclable food-grade plastic.  Its' simple, sturdy construction ensures many years of trouble-free use.  Every component of the composting Garden Tower 2 is produced from virgin food-grade high density polyethylene.  The tower is engineered to provide seven years of resistance to UV radiation before the integrity of the tower's shell is significantly reduced; however, in many scenarios the first life of a Garden Tower could be much longer.

The Garden Tower 2 grows plants vertically, enabling you to grow 50 plants in a very small space. Most container gardens only allow planting on the top but the Garden Tower 2 has 45 openings around the outside and space for up to 5 taller plants on top. Along with the top, side planting pockets are large enough to accommodate compact root vegetables such as turnips, carrots, and radishes.

Plants grow faster in the Garden Tower because they are protected in their own special microclimate, and because they have constant access to nutrient-dense water. Water is steeped in a hearty brew of “compost tea” and “worm tea” via the vermicompost tube and returned to the soil repeatedly.
 

The Garden Tower uses commercially available potting soil which is sterilized to prevent the spread of weeds and plant-borne diseases.   It therefore requires virtually no weeding, soil tilling, or special preparation. Plants are grown vertically, so its produce is easy to harvest.  

Garden Towers are even used in senior-living centers which often feature balcony and patio access for leisure.
