There are a lot of people close to me who are constantly involved in some kind of trouble; trouble they've brought upon themselves because they hold grudges, seek revenge, and have hearts full of rage and hate.

What a miserable way to live...

I know I'm no saint and like all flawed human beings I struggle with keeping my heart and mind pure from negative thoughts. For so many, this struggle is a way of life. They're all "me first", "eff your feelings", and "you have to give respect to get respect".

I look at them and think:

"Yeah, but have you ever tried peace and love? That stuff is pretty cool."

It's never too late to improve that dark way of thinking, and maybe the right words will inspire you to turn away from hate and fight the good fight to obtain peace an love within yourself and with others.
